In a joint statement issued today by the Labour Party and the Federazzjoni Kaccaturi Nassaba Konservazzjonisti (FKNK) it said that they will work together on a revision of laws, regulations and policies should Labour be elected to Government.

After joint talks the PL and FKNK agreed that the review process would be carried out in the context of European Union law. The agreement between the two sides was on six points;

That more serious action would be taken on law enforcement and that any illegalities would not be tolerated. In conclusion both the PL and FKNK said that they “recognise that the EU package cannot be re-negotiated and all that has been agreed has to be carried out in full observance of EU law.”
