2. The participants must pre-book their space and are expected to donate something to the FSEG;

3. At the end of each event participants should remove their own rubbish and not leave anything behind.

      due to the ingratitude shown by the Gozitans over the election , something that Dr Gonzi invested much in Gozo and you were so ungrarteful we will not participate in any charity of any kind . Nor we will spend any money over visiting your island . Bye for good . You want money , ask the President , he has much to give .

        Richard I doubt whether you are a Labour supporter and you are trying to inflict damage to PN, or whether you are a PN BLOCKHEAD !!!!!!

      Richard, you have no idea of what are you saying. Do you know that users of the Arka services are mostly people from Malta …? What does politics has to do with a charity fund raising activity?

    4. Chev Chris Galea of Fontana says:

      Dear Richard

      As the voluntary coordinator of the Rehabilitation Equipment service of the Friends of the Sick & Elderly in Gozo and volunteer since 1995, I wish to point out that :

      1 The Friends of the Sick & Elderly never involved itself in politics and we help all kinds of people residing in Gozo even if they are foreign residents or refugees.

      2 The FSEG has served the public with utmost dedication in the medical field under different Government administrations.

      3 We have nothing to do with the Arka charity sale which is held in Marsalforn. We are an independent voluntary organisation and we are often some of the first to help when somebody needs assistance in Gozo.

      4 We urge the generous public to help us as this is a moral and a civil obligation. The FSEG cannot provide badly needed items especially Nursing beds and Ripple Mattresses for the bedridden in the community if we do not have the necessary funds.

      5 I also humbly declare that for the past few years, the FSEG has been forgotten by the major fundraisers in this country in particular l- Istrina, Xarabank, Community Chest Fund etc.. We never got a single penny except annual funding from the Ministry for Gozo to help us administer the Meals on Wheels Service on Gozo..We will also be given a large donation from Rotary for the Equipment Service. I hope that my reply is satisfactory.

      You can call me on 79 55 22 11. Thank you

      Chris Galea MA KM
