The Gozo University Group said today that it acknowledges the statement expressed by the University of Malta regarding the 383 students who now have the opportunity to sit their exams in Gozo this year.

“For the past two years, our organisation has been working hard to give all Gozitan University students the opportunity to sit for their exams at the Gozo Campus.

“It is encouraging to see that after a successful introduction and implementation of this initiative, the number of students given this option has increased once more. Then again, our goal is to achieve equality and therefore GUG will not stop working until all Gozitan students are given this choice,” the GUG said.

“Our work will also continue aimed at increasing the number of courses which, through video conferencing, are made available on both the Malta and Gozo university campus.”

GUG concluded by saying, “as always we appreciate the cooperation of the University administration in meeting student’s needs and wishes.”
