Last night the Cathedral in Victoria played host to the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra for a free Community Concert. The MPO delighted the large audience to a programme ranging from Bizet and Elgar to lesser known: Ketelbey and Massenet.

The orchestra also featured the work of the Gozitan composer Joseph Vella with his piece ‘Music for a White Dove op. 115.’ The MPO leader was Marcelline Aguis, with conductor Joseph Debrincat.
