Undeclared horse meat and pork in products labelled beef

The Environmental Health Directorate within the Superintendence of Public Health in collaboration with the Veterinary Services Department has said that the following products are not labelled in accordance to Regulations since they have a misleading product description in view that some ingredients are not declared.
These cases are still under investigation by the competent authorities to identify the source of the undeclared meats involved.

The Companies involved were instructed to withdraw the products in question from the market however since some of these products may have already been purchased by the consumers this Directorate is thus informing the public accordingly.
