The Government has announced that for the first time public service candidates who did not pass the examinations held earlier this year for the posts of clerks, executive officers, Assistant Principal, Principal and Senior Principals, will be given the opportunity to resit the examination.

The statement from the Government said that this is being done after finding a number of irregularities had occurred during the tests performed in January 2013. These irregularities are being investigated by the Police.

“While the Government published the original results last week, prior to them being changed, it felt the need to provide the opportunity to candidates who had not passed the exam. The candidates were also given the option to review the examination papers.

Applications for resits will open on Wednesday, the 22nd of May 2013 and will be available to download from the website of the Examinations Department, or can be collected from the same department.
