Today the Police arraigned under arrest in the Gozo Court, Isaac Abdala aged 21 years, born in Ivory Coast but residing in Victoria, Gozo.
He was charged with having on the night between the 12th and 13th of April 2013 in a private residence in Victoria, violently raping a minor girl and kept her against her will, among other related charges.
He was also charged with having on the 21st April 2013, in a private residence, committed a violent indecent assault on the same minor and also committed immoral acts in public.
The defendant appeared before Magistrate Dr Paul Coppini and pleaded not guilty to the charges as brought against him. He was denied bail was escorted to the Corradino Correctional Facility.
The prosecution in this case was led by Inspector Bernard Spiteri.
