The Institute of Tourism studies in Qala is inviting potential students to visit the Campus, to give them an idea of the type of courses on offer in Hospitality and Tourism, saying “a course at ITS is not just about joining any institute or university.”

“Apart from offering a wide choice of programmes within the premises of the ITS Campus with multiple entry and exit points, we commit ourselves to provide you with abundant opportunities to learn and to thrive towards achieving your goals.

“You will have complete freedom to explore, learn about new subjects, meet new people, and pursue new passions. Each course has been designed that shall provide you different windows to view the world differently,” the ITS said.

All students are granted first hand experience within the tourism industry in line with their chosen area of specialisation. During this experience all students are monitored to ensure that their practice is indeed serving as a fruitful one.

This trade practice also assists students with the opportunity to start to prove themselves to potential employees and do not finish their studies with just a qualification.

Besides increasing the potential to encourage more young people and workers into a career in the tourism sector, the training received also translates into more suitable services in the tourism sector on the island of Gozo.

Those who are interested are invited to visit the Campus in person next Thursday or Friday, the 6th and 7th of June between 9.00am and 6.00pm, at the ITS, Bishop Michael Buttigieg Street, in Qala to explore the life on the campus.
