The Ministry for Gozo has announced today that it will be installing flag poles and ring buoys, as well as information boards on sea conditions etc, at a number of beaches around the island.

It said that this service, as well as lifeguarding and other initiatives are being funded by the Ministry for Gozo.

The Ministry said that this “forms part of the work being carried out by the Ministry to ensure that the beaches are a more secure location, so that they can be enjoyed by the thousands of locals and tourists who visit the island.”
