Gozo Channel has advised that the MV Ta’ Pinu will be off-service due to maintenance requirements, between Tuesday, the 10th of September and Wednesday, the 11th of September 2013.

All normal scheduled ferry services will be performed by the MV Malita and the MV Gaudos.

Gozo Channel said that as in the past, in order to reduce inconvenience and waiting time due to the reduced carrying capacity, at peaks times, the MV Malita will utilise both hanging car-decks having a clear deck height of 2.5m to increase its carrying capacity.

The Company may also switch to a shuttle service during other times of the day if demand so necessitates, it said.

“These arrangements will be in effect until further notice. Meanwhile we apologise for any inconvenience that these arrangements may cause,” Gozo Channel concluded.
