Last week volunteers carried out a clean-up operation at the Calypso Cave, which overlooks Ramla Bay.
The same volunteers also repaired the dune fences at Ramla l-Hamra. The Gaia Foundation who is responsible for the mangement of Ranla, thanked the volunteers for their hard work and a job well done.

It is nice to clean around beaches and the bay itself like Ramla Bay but, it will be more clavier to keep any open eye on whats going on down Nadur road and the rest of the contaminated water that finish at this loving population beach.
Prosit lil dawn il-voluntiera u nispera li attivitajiet simili jsiru f’postijiet ohra.
Excellent work! My concerns are ramla beach it’s like a giant ashtray full of butt ends great for the children to play in.bring on a smoking section so all the smokers can sit in the ashtray and let the rest of us sit on clean sand.or even better ban smoking on the beach.
@ M. Langford . And at the future contaminated water will come to this beautiful beach from streams which passes from under the Nadur cemetery and the burying place it self.
