Local company, Gozo Farmhouse Rentals has warned of a woman that is posing as their representative, who, the company said, is contacting people through its facebook page and other clients.

The company said that the woman, who calls herself Annabelle, from Gozo, asks people for deposits, issues a false receipt and then is never seen by the client again. “Some people have already had this experience happen to them.”

“This woman does not own or have any farmhouses for rent,” the company said. They have requested that if clients are contacted by her that they report it to the Police immediately.
