The Gozo University Group (GUG) has said in a statement that it met up with the institute of Tourism Studies’ Chief of Staff at the Auberge d’Italie yesterday evening.

GUG said that both sides “described difficulties concerning the Maltese and Gozitan students residing in Malta and in Gozo.” Moreover, ITS’s vision for the Gozo institute satisfied the GUG: “The ITS’s initiative to cater for Maltese students in Gozo’s institute for certain modules is highly appreciated as it will add lively interaction to the social, practical and academic aspects of the existing students in the Gozo institute.”

“The logistics are much clearer now and we fully understand the way the students’ day trips are planned. GUG and ITS will continue to work closely to ensure the smooth implementation of such courses and future activities.”
