The fourth edition of the Gozo Cup, is being held at the Gozo Stadium between the 15th and 17th of November. The teams taking part are the Gozo selection – Gozo XI and from the Malta Premier League, Hibernians, Sliema Wanderers and Valletta.

Friday, the 15th will see the semi-finals between Gozo XI against Sliema, starting at 6.00pm and Hibernians against Valletta at 8.00pm.

Sunday, the 17th, at 3.00pm will be the match for the third place and the final is due to be played at 5.00pm.

The Tournament is taking place to coincide with a ‘Free Travel to Gozo’ weekend taking place on the 15th, 16th and 17th of November, with free Gozo Channel trips for passengers and vehicles, (excluding commercial vehicles), between Friday, the 15th at 7.30pm and Monday, the 18th at 01.15am.

Various sports activities will be taking place at football pitches around Gozo, including athletics, baseball, rugby and a female quadrangular tournament.

The event is being organised by the Gozo Football Association and the Ministry for Gozo in collaboration with Gozo Channel, Michael Grech Financial Investment Services, the Gozo Office for Culture and Information and www.visitgozo.com.
