Maltese MEP Roberta Metsola paid an official visit on Friday to the Il-Hagar | Heart of Gozo Museum, in Victoria.
Ms Metsola was welcomed by administrator Ms Marilyn Axiak and accompanied around the museum by curator Mgr Joseph Farrugia. Mgr Farrugia was also the coordinator of the ERDF-funded project while it was being realised.
During the visit, MEP Metsola praised Fondazzjoni Belt Victoria “for a very successful Maltese-European venture and for its level of excellence.” She expressed the hope that visitors, both Maltese and foreign, learn about the museum and visit it.
