The Ramblers’ Association of Malta is organising an audio-visual presentation on the Visual Conceptualisation for the Maltese Islands – Space-Time Approaches to understanding our Environment, by Dr Saviour Formosa BA(Hons), M.Sc.(G.I.S.), Dip.App.Soc.Stud., Ph.D., F.R.G.S

The Association said that “in brief, this talk will explain how visualising one’s environment is a basic requirement towards understanding one’s society: its past, present and future. The talk focuses on the diverse social, physical and natural environments that constitute one’s realities.

“Every change in one aspect reflects a change in another theme, whilst society adapts to the changes rendered over time and space. Dr Formosa reviews new technologies that are being used in order to build a digital world where changes are analysed through different scenarios and the context they occur in.”

The presentation is taking place this coming Monday, the 18th of November, starting at 6.00pm at Europe House, 254, St Paul St., Valletta.

The Association said that “attendance is free but all will be asked to present their identity card at the door. The public is kindly asked to be seated by 5.50.”
