Traditional round crib inaugurated at the Heart of Gozo Musem

A round traditional Crib scene – Presepju set up by Frank Mizzi at Il-Hagar | Heart of Gozo Museum in Victoria, has been officially inaugurated by the Minister for Gozo, Dr Anton Refalo.
Museum Curator Mgr Guzeppi Farrugia, referred to the various initiatives currently being undertaken at this cultural centre. On his part, Dr Refalo confirmed his continuing support to the Museum.
Fondazzjoni Belt Victoria Chairman, Antoine Vassallo, then offered the Minister for Gozo a set of two new etchings by Gozitan artist Justin Falzon.
The etchings depict the paintings found in St. George’s Basilica, St George Victorious over the Dragon, and Our Lady of the Souls both by Mattia Preti.
Produced in a limited edition to commemorate the fourth centenary of the Calabrese artist’s birth, they can be acquired from the museum itself.
