Parliamentary Secretary for Research, Innovation, Youth and Sport, Stefan Buontempo, announced today that a new scheme is to be launched in the near future whereby Local Councils will have an open air gym in each location, with the aim of increasing sports facilities, as well as encourage residents to take part in physical exercise.

The Parliamentary Secretary was inaugurating an open air gym in Swieqi in the presence of Mayor, Noel Muscat, and the Minister of Sustainable Development, Environment and Climate Change, Leo Brincat.
