The Bishop of Gozo Mgr. Mario Grech. has appointed Fr Ignatius Borg, currently the Priest of San Lawrenz, as Parish Priest of the Immaculate Conception and Saint Joseph, in Qala, following the recent resignation of Can Dr Joe Zammit as Archpriest of this parish.

Fr Charles Sultana, currently the Parochial Vicar of San Lawrenz, has been appointed as Parish Priest of San Lawrenz, and Fr Anthony Bajada has been appointed as Parochial Vicar of St. Lawrenz.

Bishop Grech called on both respective communities “to meet with love and generosity their new spiritual shepherds, who are endowed with beautiful pastoral qualities that they can continue to assist in the management of Christian people in Gozo.”
