A reminder that this coming Saturday, the Gozo NGOs Association in collaboration with the European Parliament Office in Malta will be holding a conference in Gozo on Saturday entitled, ‘European Elections: Gozo as a Region in the European Union.’

The conference will focus on the Regionality of the Island of Gozo within the EU and it will be addressed by an international keynote speaker, together with MEP candidates from the three main political parties.

Another topic being discussed will be how can an MEP work towards the development of Gozo as a region and its interest.

The candidate MEP’s addressing the conference are Arch. Clint Camilleri, Arch. Carmelo Coccopardo, Mr Stefano Mallia, Dr Roberta Metsola and Dr Alfred Sant.

Also Dr Juan Gual De Torella Guasp from the Region of Mallorca, Dr Peter Agius, Head of the European Parliament Office in Malta and Mr Anton Tabone Ex Speaker of the House and ex Minister for Gozo will address the conference.

The conference is taking place at Vini e Capricci, Gozitano Complex, starting at 9.00am.
