The Prime Minister Dr Joesph Muscat was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital in the early hours of this morning after complaining of pain in his eyes.

Dr Muscat was kept under observation for several hours and was then sent home and told to take several days rest.

Approximately 40 people who had attended a party political meeting with the Prime Minister under a tent in Zurrieq, were also admitted to hospital with similar symptons.
