Members of the Young Business Entrepreneurs bureau of Gozo met the Code-X team in preparation for the Junior Achievement (Young Enterprise) Malta company of the year programme.

This group of young Gozitans have developed an innovative app to help tourist explore unknown places of interest in Gozo.

Code-X is a group of eight Gozitan students attending Sir MA Refalo who are participating in a Junior Achievement Young Enterprise Competition.

The aim of this competition is to set up a young programming company by working together as a team while striving to gain market penetration and increase our revenue streams by maximising the number of downloads.

The group named their first app Travel Buddy because as a companion, thus a buddy, will help the user to narrow down an endless choice of options of what one can do at their destination of choice.

“While endorsing the entrepreneurial spirit of this young team,” YBE said that they would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all young entrepreneurs participating in this programme.
