Gozo Centre for Art & Crafts annual school exhibition opens Thursday

The Wistin Camilleri Gozo Centre for Art & Crafts, annual school exhibition, opens at the Ministry for Gozo Exhibition Hall, Victoria, from this coming Thursday, the 15th of May.
Visitors to this popular exhibition will be able to view the various works of of art produced by participants currently attending courses at the Centre.
The annual event always attracts a considerable number of local visitors together with many others who cross over from the mainland, as well as tourists who are on the island.
Among the subjects featured is art in its various media, beading techniques, curtain making, soft furnishing, embroidery, furniture making, glass gilding, gold and silversmith, lace, lathe and milling techniques – wood and metal, metal works, pappier mache designs, parchment crafts, photography, pottery, ceramics and mosaic, wood and stone sculpture, sugar crafts, thread filigree, traditional fishing pots and cane works and wood crafts.
The exhibition will be open to the public until Thursday, the 29th of May, from 8.30am to 4.30pm, excluding weekends.
