Today, at about noon, the Police were informed that a diver had found himself in difficulty whilst swimming at Reqqa Point, Zebbug, Gozo.
The Police said that the diver, a 64-year-old Austrian, was certified dead at the scene.
Further investigations are underway while several experts have been appointed to assist with a magisterial inquiry.
