A 37-year-old man from Xaghra, was taken to hospital earlier this afternoon after falling from a height, whilst working at a construction site in Triq Marsalforn, Xaghra, Gozo.

The Police said that the incident took place just before 2.00pm and the man was assisted on site by CPD personnel and the Medical team.

He was taken to the Gozo General Hospital, were he was later certified to be suffering from injuries of grievous nature.
