The PN has said in a statement that Gozitan MP Frederick Azzopardi, underwent surgery on Wednesday at the Mater Dei Hospital .
PN said that the operation had been a success and the MP is now under observation at the hospital.
The statement by the PN wished the MP a speedy recovery, whilst also urging respect for Mr Azzopardi’s privacy.
