Wirja tal-Biedja u Snajja – annual agricultural and craft exhibition, came to a close this morning, organised by the Agrarian, Industrial and Cultural Society of Gozo, at the Villa Rundle Gardens in Victoria.

President Marie-Louis Coleiro Preca and her husband visited the show this morning and were given a warm welcome by those present. The Victoria Scout Group provided a guard of honour for her entrance to the Villa Rundle Gardens.

President Marie-Louis Coleiro Preca and the Minister for Gozo Dr Anton Refalo, presented the prizes to the winners of each category. Hundreds of visitors enjoy Wirja tal-Biedja u Snajja for Santa MarijaLarge crowds visited this popular traditional exhibition, which opened on Thursday. They were able to view more than 5,000 exhibits, including produce, livestock, poultry, vegetables and song birds. Hundreds of visitors enjoy Wirja tal-Biedja u Snajja for Santa MarijaArtisan work and crafts, locally produced wines, oil and honey were also on display. On Thursday evening visitors were treated to entertainment related to traditional folklore.
