The Minister for Gozo Dr Anton Refalo, has visited Maria Xerri, a resident of Victoria, who is celebrating the wonderful achievement of reaching her 100th birthday.

Maria is a widow and mother of seven children. During the visit Maria recounted her experiences during her lifetime, stating that it “was fun meeting with the Minister for Gozo!” Dr Refalo wished Maria a very Happy Birthday, and presented her with a bouquet of flowers for the occasion.

The Minister reiterated that it was a pleasure for him to visit Maria, and praised her children for taking care of her over the past years.
