On Saturday morning The Gozo Greyhounds Sports Club met by the Qala Local Council, as they do every week at 8.30am.

Louis Debattista, organiser of the club, said that the group managed to do 22Km in 2 hours and 45 minutes. “We started from Qala, then on to Nadur, from there to Xaghra, where one more rider joined us and then we headed back through Xewkija and Sannat, where we stopped for half an hour so they could have some fun in the Sannat playground. We then cycled on from Sannat to Xewkija via the heliport to Ghajnsielem and on to finish back at Qala.”Gozo Greyhounds Sport Club members do a 22Km cycle tour on Saturday“I do wish to see more adults would join us on this ride so that we can all help these kids to do there rides as well,” Louis said. “In Gozo we need to stop thinking about ourselves so much and start to dedicate some time towards something useful and share our time with others, particularly the younger generation.”Gozo Greyhounds Sport Club members do a 22Km cycle tour on SaturdayLouis congratulated everyone on yesterdays achievement.
