Gozo in Philatelic Art: Exhibition at Il-Hagar – Heart of Gozo Museum

An extensive selection of original Gozo-related works of art, which were used as the basis for the design of Malta postage stamps, is to be exhibited at Il-Hagar – Heart of Gozo Museum – in St George’s Square, Victoria. The works span a number of decades.
‘Gozo in Philatelic Art is curated by Nicoline Sagona and Antoine Vassallo and includes artworks by numerous Maltese artists, such as Edward Caruana Dingli, Emvin Cremona, Frank Portelli and Antoine Camilleri.
Spread over fifty boards on all the Museum levels, it will be open to the public, from Saturday, the 1st November and will run until Sunday, the 4th of January 2015.
Normal opening hours are 9am to 5.30pm.
Entrance to the exhibition is free of charge.
