Rain and thunderstorms have been sweeping across the Maltese islands this morning. Strong wind gusts have accompanied the storms.
A waterspout/mini tornado was seen in the Ta’ Cenc area of Gozo, captured in a reader’s photograph as seen above.
The forecast is for similar weather conditions to continue for at least the next 24 hours.
