The Gozo University Group, said in a statement today that it will be monitoring any developments concerning the new transport operation system.

The Group stressed the importance of a reliable bus service, “since many Gozitan students crossing over to Malta depend on it efficiency.”

GUG said that the Minister for transport has claimed that the new operating system will we synchronised with the Gozo Channel service. “GUG has been putting forward their corner on the matter for quite some time. If this materialises it will undoubtedly be time saving, since it lessons the possibility of missing a ferry.”

Minister Joe Mizzi also mentioned a mobile application that will be introduced in the coming months. This will be of great benefit for the students at large, said GUG.

GUG stated, “we cannot stress enough the importance of such a necessary service which has to be reliable. We expect the matter to proceed as discussed with TM last year.”
