A Solemn Mass was held at the church of St Anthony the Abott, Xaghra, on the occasion of the annual traditional feast of St Anthony the Abbot. The Mass was followed by refreshments and convivial get-together.

Among those present were His Excellency Gozo Bishop Mgr. Mario Grech, the church rector Can. John Sultana, Xaghra Archpriest Mgr Carmelo Refalo, the Xaghra Mayor Joe and his wife Carmen Cordina, Xaghra Deputy Mayor Aaron Agius, Councillors Maria Grima, Dr Joseph Attard, Dr Kevin Cutajar, Leader of the Opposition Dr Simon Busuttil, Dr Chris Said, PN Secretary General, Frederick Azzopardi MP and Giovanna Debono MP
