Special opening of War HQ Tunnels & Heritage Day at Saluting Battery

Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna is holding a special event at the Saluting Battery, Valletta on Tuesday 10th February 2015 to mark the feast day of the Apostle Saint Paul patron saint of Malta.
For this occasion, there they are offering guided tours of the battery at 10.00am, 11.00am and 1.00pm. At 12.00 midday a full-gun salute will be fired from all the saluting guns at the same.
Also for this occasion, FWA will hold a special opening of the War HQ tunnels under the Upper Barracca along with the St. Peter and Paul Counter-guard. Both properties have been undergoing continuous restoration for the past two years and they are now almost ready.
These will be open between 2.00pm and 5.00pm with all tours starting at the Saluting Battery. The entrance fee for all three heritage sites (Saluting Battery, War HQ tunnels and the Counter-guard) will be €5 for adults and €2 for children.
For an extra €5 visiters can also see the Lascaris War Rooms saving 50% of the regular price. All paid up FWA members will enter for free.
Entrance fees: €5 per adult, €2 for children or €7 for a family group of two adults and three children u/16 years of age. €10 for ALL four sites including the Lascaris War Rooms.
