The Institute of Maltese Studies at the University of Malta has the pleasure to launch the second series of public lectures about various aspects of Maltese Culture and Identity.
The first of these lectures will be about ‘Insects of Commercial Value in Maltese Culture and Tradition.’ For his lecture, the speaker, Paul Portelli, will draw on original research which he carried out for his Master thesis in Maltese Studies.
This event will be held at the National Museum of Natural History, Pjazza San Publiju, L-Imdina on Thursday, the 12th of March and will start at 6.30 p.m. The Director of the Institute Professor Henry Frendo will introduce the speaker.
The public is invited to attend.
