Police have advised that a 61-year old British woman lost her life whilst diving in Dwejra today at about 11.45am.
CPD personnel and a medical team were called on site for assistance.
The Duty Magistrate was informed about the case and appointed an inquiry.
Police investigations are ongoing in order to determine what lead to the woman’s death.
