The Minister for Gozo Dr Anton Refalo, was admitted to hospital on Sunday, after suffering heart problems.
Dr Refalo was first admitted to the Gozo General Hospital, but later transferred to Mater Dei for further investigations.
No statement has yet been issued on his condition.
