A massive figolla, prepared by David’s Bakery in Gozo, raised a total of €3,124 in aid of Puttinu Cares, the organisation which helps people sick with cancer.

The figolla, was exhibited on Easter Saturday at the Arkadia Commercial Centre’s main entrance in Victoria and attracted crowds of Gozitans and Maltese wanting to taste this genuine Easter cake, as well as being able to have the opportunity to make a donation towards this noble cause.

David Mercieca from David’s Bakery, who was there with his sons Manuel and Mark, cut the Figolla.
