Seasonally adjusted industrial production decreased by 1.3 per cent in February over the previous month. When compared to February 2014, the index of industrial production adjusted for working days went up by 3.8 per cent, the National Statistics Office said today.

In February, the seasonally adjusted index of industrial production decreased by 1.3 per cent to 98.2 points. Decreases were registered in the production of consumer goods (7.3 per cent) and energy (0.3 per cent). On the other hand, increases were registered in the production of intermediate goods (6.2 per cent) and capital goods (2.8 per cent).

When compared to the corresponding month of 2014, the index of industrial production adjusted for working days went up by 3.8 per cent. Increases were registered in the production of intermediate goods (8.6 per cent), capital goods (5.6 per cent) and energy (5.2 per cent). On the other hand, the production of consumer goods went down by 1.1 per cent.
