Il-Qortin ta’ Isopu, the disused quarry on the outskirts of Nadur, is currently being turned into a family park, through a project being undertaken by EcoGozo

The project, has included the procurement and levelling of soil, the construction of a reservoir as well as the resurfacing of the access road to the park. More than 4,500 trees and shrubs have been planted on site. EcoGozo said that there is still more work to be undertaken before the project sees its completion
