In light of the proposed development of the American University of Malta, at Zonqor Point, a meeting was held this morning in front of the Parliament building in Valletta, to announce the launch of ‘Front Harsien ODZ’ (Front for the Protection of ODZ).

Michael Briguglio, one of the organisers of the new group, said that the aim of this Front, it said, is to safeguard ODZ sites such as the one located at Zonqor Point. The goals of this Front are purely environmental in nature.

This Front is open to residents, individuals from all sections and walks of life and organisations who share our aims.
