Wirt Gawdex has started on a major restoration project of the whole façade of the building housing the Ministry for Gozo, in St Francis Square, Victoria, which was previously the old hospital.

Wirt Ghawdex said that this will be quite a challenging project, both because of the size of the site and also the scope of the project. Besides the restoration of the stonework, the work will include the restoration of woodwork and metal.

This project is part of the general rehabilitation of St. Francis Square, which will include the repositioning of all electrical wiring, security systems and the installation of new lighting etc.
