Last Friday, a group of students from the Gozo College Boys’ Secondary School carried out voluntary work at the Emergency Response Rescue Corps Headquarters in Xewkija.
During this activity, they washed all the ERRC vehicles and cleaned everywhere around the premises.
This voluntary activity, organised by the students’ mentor Mr David Camilleri, was part of the Core Curriculum Programme (CCP) the students are undergoing at school.
The CCP is special programme, gives under achieving students an opportunity to acquire important skills such as entrepreneurship, social and civic competences and many more. The emphasis is given to learning in a fun and relevant way.
The ERRC said that it would like to thank the Head of School Mr Abela, Teacher mentor Mr David Camilleri, all other teachers present for the activity and, most of all, the students who made this activity a success.
