Update: A 52-year-old Kercem man was injured earlier this evening in a traffic accident in Triq Santa Katerina, Xewkija.

The Gozo Police said that accident happened at about 7.20pm this evening, when a Honda C70 driven by the 52-year old man was in a collision with a Toyota Hiace driven by a 61-year old man, also from Kercem

The motorcyclist was transferred to the Gozo General Hospital, where he was certified as being in a critical condition, the Police said.

Duty Magistrate Dr J Vella Cuschieri LL.D was informed about the case whereby she appointed several experts to assist her in the inquiry.
