Two persons were injured this afternoon after their quad-bike overturned while they were in Wied il-Ghasri limits of Marsalforn, Gozo.

The Gozo Police were informed by the Gozo General Hospital that earlier at about 4.40pm, an accident took place, where a man, 26, from Naxxar and a woman also 26, from San Gwann were injured.

The 26-year-old man was certified as suffering from grievous injuries while the woman is suffering from slight injuries.

Preliminary investigations found that while the couple were driving downhill, the driver lost control and consequently overturned, the Police said.
