Starting tomorrow morning, Gozo SPCA will be holding collections on the Gozo Channel ferries, which will continue through to Sunday evening.

The donations made during these collections are a vital part of Gozo SPCA’s annual fundraising efforts, which accounts for up to 25% of their annual income.

So please consider giving a donation if you see a collector on the ferry, who will be volunteering their time this weekend to help the unwanted animals of Gozo.

If you won’t be crossing to Gozo this weekend, but would still like to contribute, you can do so in the following ways:

SMS – available from all Malta based mobile phones

€1.16 – 50616116

€2.33 – 50617375

€4.66 – 50618061

€6.99 – 50618904

€11.65 – 50619204

Other methods are by transfer to Gozo SPCA’s – HSBC account Account Number: 071089122001, or by cheque – payable to Gozo SPCA, and send to:

Thank you in advance for helping Gozo SPCA in their efforts to assist the many stray and unwanted animals in Gozo.

If anybody thinks that they can help with a loving home for Rufus (details below), or any of the other animals at the Gozo SPCA centre, then please email info@spca-gozo.org. You can also contact them on 21553769 and 99475199 or visit their website at: http://www.spca-gozo.org/ or their facebook page.

Any of the animals can be reserved for rehoming and a gallery is available which features many of the dogs and cats that are currently in need of new homes.
