Zminijietna – Voice of the Left has said today that it agrees in principle to the freezing of embryos, but more serious discussions on this matter should also be held prior the finalisation of any amendments to the existing laws.

"Government should promote further debates on this issue both in Parliament and within civil society," it said.

"We strongly disagree with extreme conservative arguments that are being brought forward on this subject that hinders the positive aspect for the amendments to the existing law," stated Zminijietna.
