Request for Tender Proposals for the Design, Build and Operation of an upmarket mixed tourism and leisure development in St. Julian's,
Projects Malta has said that the Government is to develop new world class facilities for the Institute for Tourism Studies which will be relocated to Smart City. Details of the new development will be announced separately.
It said that as part of this transition process, the Government intends to proceed with awarding a Concession for the site which currently houses the Institute of Tourism Studies in St. Julian's and land in close proximity to it.
"The Concession will be awarded to the successful proponent for the design, build and operation of an upmarket mixed tourism and leisure project."
This Concession will complement Government's plans for St. George's Bay in St. Julians, Projects Malta said.
In light of the above, Projects Malta on behalf of the Government has issued a Request for Tender proposals inviting submissions from prospective proponents, with a view to obtaining a Concession. Further information can be obtained from http://projectsmalta.com/tenders.
