The Minister for Gozo Anton Refalo, has visited the Sports complex in Victoria, where this weekend another children's fun park 'Dinja ta-tfal' (Children's World) is being organised, giving children the opportunity to meet their favourite Disney characters and enjoy a variety of activities for free.

The Minister reiterated that at this time of the year, we think about those who are less fortunate of us. We think those children suffer because of illness. He spoke about Leah, the little girl who stole all of our hearts, and this year the event will be devoted to Leah, all donations contributed will be for Puttinu Cares.

The Minister thanked the Christmas in Gozo Committee, who again this year is organising the event to give the opportunity for children to meet with their favourite characters. Children may also enjoy a variety of activities such as bouncy Castles, rock climbers, train ride, pony rides and a merry-go -round, among others, all the rides are free.

There will be gifts given as a memento to the children visiting the Children`s Fun Park this weekend, among them a little crib made from the wood of olive trees, specially brought from Bethlehem.

This event is being organised by the Gozo Christmas Committee within the Ministry for Gozo in collaboration with Buzzy Kids Entertainment, Vini e Capricci by Abrahams, Arkadia Shopping Mall, Michael Grech Financial, Frank Salt and The Duke Shopping Complex.

The event will be open between 10.00am – 8.00pm, on both days.
