A 32-year-old motorcyclist and his female pillion rider also aged 32, both from Victoria, have been hospitalised following a traffic accident in Triq l-Istabal, Marsa, at 1.40pm this afternoon.

The Qormi Police said that a collision took place between a Kawasaki and a BMW. The BMW was being driven by a 25-year-old man who lives in Zejtun.

The woman has been certified as suffering from grievous injuries, the motorcyclist and the 25-year-old were not injured, the Police said.

Police investigations are still underway.
